This is day one of a two-day course

Are you relatively new to widening access? This two-day Access Academy course, Key Skills for Widening Access has been designed to give you an introduction to what you need to know about widening access in the UK. This course will explore:

  • The history of widening access
  • Widening access policy
  • Who is under-represented and why?
  • What skills are needed to be a widening access practitioner
  • Why is it important to monitor and evaluate

The course will be delivered online over two days. Day two will take place on 1st March 2024. Delegates must attend both days of the course.
