This one day course will look at IAG theory and practice, and relate this to our own outreach work. By the end of the day participants will:

  • Understand and be able to apply IAG theories to their own outreach work;
  • Consider the skills and techniques for successful one-to-one guidance;
  • Look at different approaches to group work sessions and consider the benefits and challenges of each approach;
  • Changes to the GCSE and A’ Level curriculum;
  • Improve their own knowledge around all the routes available to learners to access higher education.
