What to expect

Held over a day, this in-depth training inspires you to think about how to organise and host a summer school, residential or non-residential.

This training is designed to give delegates the chance to develop both their knowledge and skills that are needed to deliver effective widening access activities – creating a practical space for you to explore and network with colleagues on how to build your confidence to bring together a useful summer school, residential or non-residential.

  • Explore the content of the programme – depending on targeted age group
  • Discuss social activities
  • Review ways to recruit and training student ambassadors
  • How to encourage parental engagement
