Access and outreach for disabled learners Working Group (Northern)

NEON Working Groups

This Working Group is organised jointly by Manchester Metropolitan University, The University of Manchester and Oxford Brookes University

This group brings together practitioners from Outreach teams as well as those from Student Support to discuss their current practice and experiences of supporting disabled learners into and through HE. The group examines issues such as the respective benefits of targeted events versus inclusive events and the best approaches to making these events a success. Models of best practice are shared, assisting members in developing new activities within their own institutions and in refining activities they currently deliver.

This working group is divided into both a Northern and Southern working group in order to afford all NEON members the opportunity to attend.
