NEON Working Groups

This Working Group provides a space for WP Practitioners to share best practice and research on the sustainability of early WP interventions.

The group promotes working with primary age children as part of the widening access agenda, building on the OfS recommendation of an evidenced based approach to early sustained WP interventions. The group provides a network for practitioners to meet and discuss common issues of concern, evaluations of projects and to develop joint initiatives and partnerships.

At this event Darren McMorran, Outreach Officer, University of East Anglia, will be delivering a presentation on his primary school projects at UEA. He has developed a programme of new and targeted activities for WP pupils in Norfolk and North Suffolk.
