Director of Sector Engagement, UPP Foundation
Lucy Haire was appointed Director of Sector Engagement at UPP, a senior leadership role that includes taking the lead on the strategic direction and growth of the UPP Foundation, in October 2025.
Lucy brings a wealth of experience from across the higher education landscape, having worked with a range of organisations that support universities and drive impact in the sector. Her deep commitment to education is long-standing; she started her career as a history teacher. She states, “I firmly believe that education is the single most important human endeavour.”
In her leadership role, Lucy is responsible for shaping the next phase of development for the UPP Foundation, working closely with the trustees and sector partners.
