NEON Summer Symposium 2017 – Exhibition and Sponsorship Opportunities

About NEON
The National Education Opportunities Network (NEON) is a professional organisation founded in January 2012 to support those involved in widening access to higher education (HE) and social mobility throughout the student lifecycle. Since 2012 we have become the largest network of widening access professionals in the UK having over 100 organisational members.

NEON is an independent non-state funded organisation which grew from the need for a strong, coherent community of professionals that could support learners from under-represented backgrounds to enter Higher Education (HE). We are shaped and led by our members.

The NEON Summer Symposium
The NEON Symposium brings widening access professionals together each year for a two-day event. Both NEON members and non-members attend, making this one of the largest gatherings of its type. During the two days delegates hear from policy makers, researchers and other practitioners about the latest developments in widening access.

Last year’s Symposium attracted 170 delegates from across the UK. This year we are set to exceed this figure and are expecting around 200 delegates to join us at Leeds Beckett University on the 8th and 9th of June.

The majority of organisations attending are involved in their local National Collaborative Outreach Programme (NCOP) partnerships and many of the NCOPs are attending in their own right. You can see a list of the organisations that have already booked places for this year’s event by clicking here.

The full programme for the Symposium can be accessed here.
