New NEON Working Group on WP for Refugees and Asylum-Seekers

8 Feb 2018

NEON is happy to announce that today it is launching a new working group looking at how to widen access, support retention and encourage success for learners who are refugees or asylum-seekers. A number of members of this working group, hosted by the University of Surrey, are conducting on-going research on how to best support these groups. This working group welcomes contributions from WP practitioners, researchers, community advocates and learners to create a working group environment to take forward our sector’s support in this area.

The first meeting of this working group will be on Tuesday, 6th March 2018 from 12.00 to 15.00 at the University of Surrey.

If you are interested in booking on for the first meeting of this Working Group, please click here.
