Widening access at a crossroads

Writing today for the Higher Education Policy Institute (HEPI) the Director of NEON, Martin Webster, has a warning for Government and stresses that widening access is at a crossroads. In his blog Martin highlights the financial challenges being experienced by higher education providers and, whilst welcoming the Government’s support for both widening access and the higher education sector in general, warns that measures need to be put in place to build upon the hard work of colleagues across the sector and improve equitable access and success.
