What to expect
The NEON Supporting Practice events showcase existing practice from across the sector, allowing participants to learn from each other and develop their own organisational practice. Drawing upon the work of NEON members we feature practice that is evidence based and has been robustly evaluated to demonstrate impact.
The Supporting Practice events also provide a space for networking and informed discussion with other participants allowing everyone to share practice and learn from each other.
Each Supporting Practice features:
- Keynote speech from a leading policymaker, researcher, or sector figure.
- Evidencebased case studies focusing on the work of NEON members.
- Opportunities for discussion and sharing insight among attendees.
- Reflections on the future steps that need to be taken to address the particular topic under consideration.
The events are designed to give practical examples of evidence-based initiatives that are being delivered, and to support organisations in developing their own support for different groups of learners.
