Over recent years the importance of supporting widening access students through their higher education experiences has risen in prominence. Whilst attracting a student body from a wide range of backgrounds remains vital, both in terms of diversity and social justice, it is vital that students are supported through their journeys and into further study or employment. The introduction of Access and Participation Plans has highlighted the need for higher education providers (HEPs) to ensure that they both identify, and address, any differences in student success and graduate outcomes.  

This NEON ONLINE event will examine the current situation within the higher education sector of student success and graduate outcomes, give delegates of practical, evidence based interventions, and debate the steps that can be taken to reduce gaps between students with different characteristics.
