The city of Liverpool offers something for everyone. This thriving city is located in the Northwest of England, with a population of over 500,000 people. The River Mersey flows into the Irish Sea in Liverpool, providing stunning waterfront views that truly can’t be missed. This city is full of history, culture, arts, music and much more! This breathtaking city offers so much to do and see, the list is never-ending.

  • Georgian Quarter (Hope Street) – Home to Liverpool’s two iconic cathedrals this area offers stylish restaurants, historic pubs, theatres and beautiful Georgian townhouses.
  • The Waterfront – Liverpool’s world-famous waterfront is steeped in maritime history and architectural grandeur. Wander through the Royal Albert Dock, explore the Museum of Liverpool, visit The Beatles Story, see the views from the top of the Liver Building or watch out for the frequently docked cruise ships. You can even take a ferry cross the Mersey and enjoy views of the Wirral peninsula.
  • Baltic Triangle – Once a forgotten industrial zone the Baltic Triangle is now a thriving, creative district filled with independent cafes, music venues and street art. It’s the go-to destination for foodies, especially Baltic Market and Cains Brewery Village and it comes alive in the evenings with events and DJs.
  • Liverpool One – If shopping is your thing head for Liverpool One, a must-visit retail and entertainment destination in the heart of Liverpool’s city centre.
  • Chinatown – Liverpool is home to the oldest Chinese community in Europe, and to the largest Chinese Arch outside of China. The Imperial Arch stands at 13.5 metres and 44 feet tall. Detailed on the arch are 200 dragons and five rooves. The arch was a gift from Shanghai, a city twinned with Liverpool, and was shipped over piece by piece.

Make the most of your time in this beautiful city and make sure you have a few extra days to take advantage of your visit.
