NEON Mature Learners Working Group Meeting – Presentations Available Now
On 2nd November 2017 NEON’s Mature Learners working group reconvened at the University of Leicester to explore strategies for supporting mature learners on their journey into HE and through higher education.
It was an informative and interactive session where NEON member organisations shared the innovative work they are undertaking to best aid mature learners in higher education.
Attendees heard presentations from University of East London (UEL), the Higher Education Progression Partnership (HEPP) at Sheffield Hallam University and the University of West London (UWL) that explored case studies, IAG practice and community based adult learner cafes.
The group also had an interesting discussion on the National Extension College’s new ‘Speak Up for Distance Learners’ Campaign.
