NEON Students of the Year Award – COMMENDATION
Vickie Merrick started at Manchester Metropolitan University in 2010. She started as an Outreach Ambassador in 2011 and quickly became one of the strongest ambassadors leading campus tours and delivering workshops. In 2013 she worked with the Diane Modahl Sports Foundation. Vickie developed a programme and delivered this in one school whilst still at university. Vickie graduated with a First Class Honours in History and was offered a full time position with Diane Modahl. She currently works leading a team of coaches who work in local WP primary schools, high schools and youth groups using sport as a tool to empower and inspire young people.
