The success of an organisation like NEON is judged entirely by the success of the learners its members serve. Through the NEON Awards we provide the platform to celebrate the success of these learners, and the contribution that our members are making to it. The NEON awards are a key part of the work we do. The transformative power that HE can have on the lives of its learners is best captured by individual stories and it is these that the awards aim to share.
The Awards were held for the second year at The Palace of Westminster on Wednesday 25 February 2015 in order to celebrate the outstanding access work being done around the country by higher education institutions, schools and colleges and individuals.
There were over 50 nominations and the selection process was extremely difficult due to the inspirational work carried out by all nominees. After drawing up a shortlist, the following people, projects and institutions won either a commendation or the award itself.
